If Only...

Who, do you think, painted these beautiful pictures?

He had wanted to attend the Viennese Academy of Fine Arts and become an artist, but his application was rejected.

Had he been accepted, world history would probably have been different, because the applicant's name was Adolf Hitler.

Like they used to say .. everything happened for reasons.. Or semua yang berlaku tu ada hikmah.. I am sure those paintings now worth a lot of money even though he did not graduate from Viennese Academy of Fine Arts.. For he is probably more famous than Van Gogh.. Infamous I mean;)

So sad actually..reflects the inner beauty of his soul..via his artworks.

This had me dumbfounded.

What deep feelings he must have had to produce this. And all that turn to hate.

We do not know what would have happened. But one thing I regret. The glasnost would not have happened. The Zionist movement would not have been so vocal.

Israel would not have been born?

What if, what if, what if...

But takdir is takdir. And what was meant to be would find its way to become reality.

What am I thinking? I meant Holocaust, not Glasnost...

should have a beautiful soul

he must be the "Dr Jekly and Dr Hyde case"...if he has gone to the psychiatrist...if he has listen to his heart...

Notice even the colours he chosed are all pastel and very soft to the eyes..reflection of a kind-hearted person.
Hardly any anger; houses, beautiful trees, mother and child love etc.
So it shows..there's a thin line dividing a person's emotions.
Once the line has been crossed, the rage and cruelty rules.
Why did he target the Jews?
Must read up again.

Wan - indeed there is hikmah in everything that happens; couldn't agree with you more..

anons 9.21, 7.15, 7.16 - it was almost painful for me to know it was his work. like you said, his inner beauty was reflected in those painting.. what a waste of talent..

ninot - such IS the power of hate and hitler believed in the aryan superiority, hating everyone else in the process... jews, gypsies, blacks..

Putri,
I am no psychologist but such fine paintings in such soft colors can only come from somebody with equally fine heart. Maybe Hitler was not the monster we are made to picture him as. Maybe Ahmadenejad was right when he mentioned there was really no Holocast. We knew Hitler of what was painted of him by the group justifying the Israeli state. We don't really know.
