When Fendi Meets Leha
Congratulations to our single-dad friend and Pak Abu's golf buddy, Affendy, who found love the second time around not so long ago while karaokeing at the Kuala Lumpur Golf & Country Club (KLGCC).
The aqad nikah (wedding solemnisation ceremony) was held at the groom's place in Bandar Utama on Friday, attended by family members and close friends from both sides.
To Fendi and Leha; may you two be happy together and be blessed with lots of little 'Fendis" (and Pradas and Guccis, hehe..), and may your union last till the end of your days.
..... And When Khadijah Disappears
Remember our Thai 'saudara baru' Khadijah? She went AWoL from Arabic classes two weeks back, leaving my daughter Awwa and her fellow classmates wondering what had happened.
A couple of days ago the cat was let out of the bag; Khadijah got married recently (no, not to someone else's husband) and is now back in Thailand. Hopefully she'll resume her classes at Al-Khadeem soon; we miss you Khadijah!

..for sometimes jodoh can be found lurking behind a salam and a smile..even during sleep..a lil true story about unpredictable jodoh..a lil village in Bachok..Ali and Na were childhood friends, went to school together..with Na after completing her SPM left the kg for a job in KB..Ali dropped out after PMR and took up trade as a mechanic..but was in love with Na..and Na liking him for the simple and good boy that he was..but Na met someone else in line of her work..got engaged..on her marriage day a cow was slaughtered, the imam was ready..the guests came but the groom didn't..and Ali spent the day tending to his broken heart by taking a slumber on a hot afternoon..later it was confirmed that the groom will not turn up at all..the father was shamed beyond words..but purposely went to Ali's house..woke him from his slumber and offered his daughter's hand in marriage..he agreed and they lived happily ever after..
and as for Khadijah..she met her jodoh..and I'm sure enjoying her new lessons and classes..:)cheers..

Its nice to know some people are lucky to find a second round of love and marriage..and enjoy unimaginable happiness.
May Leha and Fendi live happily ever after.
We're happy for them too.I hope from now on, Affendy's life is a bit more "terurus". As for Khadijah, alhamdulillah she has found a partner..
