Terkenang Baitullah

I was going through the photo album on my daughter's FB just now when I chanced upon photographs of our recent umrah, some of which have yet to see the light of day.

All of a sudden, I felt all choked up inside, especially when I looked at the picture of my two girls in hijab... Ya Allah, let it be their garment of choice until the day they breathe their last..

In the spirit of Ramadan, I would like to share some of the pictures with my readers. In the stillness of the night, I am feeling melancholic :-(

Awwa & Ann on the rocks of Jabal Rahmah

Looks like they really enjoy 'berlari-lari anak' doing the saei!

Naj, our six-footer young man.

Joe, smile as 'murah' as always, with Gua Thur as the backdrop.

The oldsters resting their weary feet on an equally worn sofa in the lobby of Mawaddah Hotel, Makkah Al-Mukarramah.

They say this year's buka puasa fare at the RLC is something not to be missed. Far better compared to dulu dulu.

I am sure this can lift the spirits a bit. See you and Pak Abu at the Banquet soon.

Kak Puteri,

Am also feeling very nostalgic about Mekah. My sister, Yatt is there now. She said orang tersangat lah ramai but walau macamana bersesak-sesak tu, the experience is still very overwhelming.

Hey...I remember that sofa at Makkah Mawaddah. Farah & I used to lepak there while waiting for my Mom during our last umrah :)

Salam Kak,

Dua anak gadis Kak Puteri tu, bukan saja manis berjubah berabaya, malah mereka kelihatan sungguh ayu dan jelita ditambah pulak dengan lesung pipit di pipi macam maknya... he!...he!

Looking at your photos I too felt very nostalgic about Mekah. Insyaallah, I hope to go there soon. In the mean time I can only doa that my wish will come through. its been three years since we last went there.

nana - so many changes in 3 years, kak nas.. and ultra busy too, mana dengan pilgrims, mana dengan the ever continuing demolition & construction.. kalau dipanjangkan umur dan dimurahkan rezeki, kami berhajat nak pi bila the monorail dah siap, jangkanya 2015..
