Kembali Kepangkuan Ilahi

Amirah (seated, with kid sister Alya), capturing the moment with
Mum & Dad, brother Anas and sister Asma
during the recent Hari Raya

Amirah was very close to and much adored by her only brother, Anas,
seen here giving his kakak an affectionate peck..
Proudly holding her hard-earned degree....

On a well-deserved break in Perth last year..

With her mum..

Amirah, 25, eldest child of my sister Ana & her husband Anuar
lost her five-year fight with cancer this morning.
Innalillahi wainna ilaihi rajioun and Al-Fatihah.

May you finally find peace, sweetheart
In our grief, we find 'keredhaan' to let you go
We love you very much, Myra
We'll never forget how beautiful you were
and how much joy you had brought into our lives...

Mak May, Uncle Ash, Naj, Joe, Ann, Awwa.

  5. Dari Allah kita datang, kepada-Nya kita kembali...

Dia dijemput pulang pada usia yang masih muda dan ketika dia masih jelita...

Dia dijemput pulang pada ketika dia disayangi dan dikasihi

Dia dijemput pulang ketika seluruh perhatian terarah kepadanya

She has beautiful eyes, beautiful smiles and the aura of strength & hope. She'll definitely be missed.

Semoga Myra terhimpun di dalam ahli Jannah.

  16. I was googling Myra's name when I stumbled upon your blog. I am a friend of hers from her UiTM Segamat days, back when she was first diagnosed with the cancer. We were joined at the hip back then, with our classmates referring to us as twins because we were both tall and lanky and looked almost similar. We lost contact after Segamat (something that I now regret), but found each other again earlier this year.

I was at her house today and I couldn't contain my tears when some of the aunties randomly told me that I look like her.

    I will truly miss her.

    Al-Fatihah

  17. dear friends, thank you so much for your kind words and du'as..

alia - glad to know you were at the house yesterday. i saw quite a number of her school & college friends as well as her colleagues, many of whom followed the hearse for the burial.

allahyarhamah amirah was such a likeable young lady, very friendly and always with a smile. senyuman tak pernah lekang dari bibirnya..

    indeed Allah loves her more..

  20. Dear Auntie,
I apologize I saw this a day late. Yesterday was my late sister's birthday. Didn't know somebody was taken away from you on the same date.

I was quietly hoping that your niece would make it. Because most of the pictures of her I see here look like she is a normal, healthy beautiful young woman.

My heartfelt condolences to you and your family. I know how it feels like to lose a family member because of cancer. I lost two.

Al-Fatihah. Semoga diampunkan dosa-dosa dan segala ibadah diterima Allah. Amin.

  29. Al Fatehah untuk aruah..

Only realised that my colleagues and I know Anas and have heard about Myra before. Did not click till I saw the family photo. Anas did practical in our office a few years back. We are all very impressed with him, showed good upbringing.

Takziah to the whole family, we are sure that Myra will be sorely missed. She was beautiful as well as intelligent and much loved by all. Semoga Allah mencucuri rahmat ke atas rohnya. Amin.
